Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a Bluepark website makeover?

The general plan would be to design a new header and change the various other parameters so you end up with a more unique looking site. Logo designs could also be done if required.

Price wise I'm thinking these ballpark figures:

£150 for a general makeover
£250 for makeover and new logo (the logo would be vector based and supplied in various formats)
£200 for general makeover involving some extra changes to the html

If anybody is interested - either send me a PM or reply here and I'll get in touch to discuss further.

Cheers,

Giles

Having now done a couple of these I need to review the price. There just isn't enough time to do a decent job for £150 so it's just one rate for a general makeover:

£225 eCommerce site makeover
Includes new header, revamp of navigation, footer, background and working the design in a complementary style throughout. I typically design 2 pages...an info page and the product page. Includes some changes to the html...but nothing too major!

The design process usually takes a couple of days and the Bluepark integration a day...so you could have a new, professional looking site up and running within a week.

Logos can be purchased to add to a makeover...or just on their own.
Basic logo - 1 concept and 2 revisions - £50
Standard logo - 4 concepts and 3 revisions - £99
Logo is created in vector format so no loss of quality at any size or resolution. Supplied to you in several handy formats.

25% deposit and the balance when complete.

Send me a PM or email if you'd like more information or jpgs of the designs I've done so far for Bluepark customers.

Cheers,

Giles

Don't know about 'magic' Dave...it's pretty straight forward, just a case of bearing in mind certain constraints when designing. :)

I'll check with the site owners if I can post the links although most are still in development having products added to.

Here's a recent one that's gone live - http://www.esquebeauty.com

There's also a link to their downloadable brochure, which *********** did....following the theme through into the site design.

Very nice design WR. Simple but looks elegant, and goes well with the company. Hopefully i can get to your stage sometime, still learning lol.

Thanks Lew - weirdly those 'all white' sites are harder to get right than a busier site.

I actually think you've done pretty well with your site...I think if you lost the drop shadows and graduation from the category graphics and titles, it would look more modern. I'd also lose the icons from search, catalogue and brand...it would declutter it slightly. Hope you don't mind me saying :)

Love the 'why buy from us' block...exactly the sort of thing that I encourage all etailers to do!

Cheers,

Giles

Some great sites here! Love all the makeovers.

I have to agree that a makeover can have amazing effects on sales. I was getting a conversion of around 1:100 for months, then compared our site to competitor sites and realised theirs were all quite graphic compared to our earlier simplistic layout and 600px width.

Another thing to do is analylse your customers. We found 2/3 of our customers were female, so this influenced the look of our makeover. Now with a 900px page width, more graphic header, little flowers on header bars and less bold green in the left colums, sales conversions are now amazingly around 1:40
