Is N. Ireland part of the UK (in the Shipping Manager)

Does anyone know if the in Country options in the Shipping Manager, the UK includes Northern Ireland, or does the Ireland option refer to North & South Ireland?

We would like to restrict free shipping to Mainland UK only, and are not sure if restricting free shipping within the Shipping Manager to the UK only will include Northern Ireland or not.

Yes, I believe it does include N. Ireland as N.Ireland is part of UK. I don't think that there is anyway of stopping a certain shipping method to certain postcode areas as I'm sure I asked this question a while back. We too have the same problem with courier deliveries as they're much more expensive to N.Ireland, Highlands, Isles of Scilly etc. The only way we can do it is write in the shipping method description "UK MAINLAND ONLY". Technically, N.Ireland customers can still select this option to checkout, but most won't if they use their brains! And if they do, I just call them / email to discuss other delivery options.
