My news block has legged it! Looking in block manager all flags are green. But I cant see my news block anymore!?!?

I want to create a new block too so a little help on positioning too please.

If the Block is active (green-flagged) in the Block Manager, then it hasn't been assigned to the Layout you're using on the page in question. The EasyEdit bar at the top of the page should show you which Layout a particular page is using when you launch your site from the Admin Console.

Go to the Layout Manager, edit the Layout and assign the Block to the relevant column (positioning it after).
