Getting to the stage of having our site ready to roll (just adding all products) and thought we would put the link up for everyone to look at and hopefully give some feed back and thoughts.

please be gentle.....

also some things that are on the site at the moment will be changing (buttons etc)

Hi Adam

Nice. Tidy and easy to understand. I particularly liked the way you set out FAQ.... I might steal that idea for the up coming reorganisation of ever-so-sexy.

Couple of tiny things I noticed.

Vat Exemption.... as VAT is a shortform for value added tax should it not all be in capitals?

Then on the delivery page I got a little confused by "(Please be aware that all beds purchased come with Accompanied free of charge)" I wondered accompanied what??? I know just below it becomes clear its an accompanied delivery, but perhaps the word delivery should be in the heading as well.

That's all I spotted on a quick scan. Good luck with the lauch.

and yeah we will change the vat stuff... been a manic month getting the site sorted so some things have been missed..

have to compliment you on your site, althought i wouldnt call it work safe!!! haha.

Hi Adam,

Manic! I know what its like.... and it does not ever seem to get any less so. Thanks for the compliment for loves-lingerie. That's our "baby" site - only on line since the Spring. The real danger is ever-so-sexy which is pretty big now and needs a thorough overhaul... brewing up to get that done now before our busy season begins in the autumn. Anyway, good luck again with the lauch.

Hi,

Just a few things:

No Contact details for your business - i wouldn't spend that amount of money unless i knew how to get in touch other than through the website.

Your Home and Catagory pages do not 'sell' to me - you have to go through 2 pages just to see your products other than in the column blocks - your website is there to take money is it not!

Your catagories and products are not using the URL text in the domain string. Needs to for SEO purposes.

And i hate to say it but your about us page doesn't tell us anything about you.

thanks for your comments, all of which are very helpful, unfortunately i am waiting on my marketing department for the wording for all pages, and as we are a big company that are only just branching out on to the internet they are not helping very quickly...

this is contributing to the text issues, and the contact page.

so no need to be sorry, we need telling these things, after sitting infront a screen trying to develop it for a month or more you tend to miss things..

Again thanks for going through it with a fine tooth comb.

Hi Adam,

It's interesting to find out you are a big company.... the site doesn't really give that feeling. Not a problem except that you are missing out on the customer confidence that can be got from people thinking (or knowing in your case) that you are a big company. So get those marketing guys working on that as well.

Glad the boys liked the sites.

Well this part isn't big. Our main company is big but the boss wants to get into internet sales. One area we currently don't sell in so it's a new area of the company. Starting off small and will build it up. Hard to get all the products on due to value.
