Product thumbnails

When looking at a number of products per page eg after search results or within a category is it possible to show (as well as a thumbnail image, name and price) the saving, % saving and an add to basket button for a quick preview/quick buy?

ie can the thumbnail be edited?

Regarding the "add to basket" button, go to site--->configuration---> catalogue, scroll down to the "display product list buttons" and tick the box. This will then show the add to basket button when products are listed, e.g. within a category.

If you have filled in the list price (normal RRP) and selling price (your price) of a product in the product manager, the products will automatically display with the higher price crossed out and the new price shown alongside it. If you wanted to highlight a saving a bit more, perhaps you could create a thumbnail image for your product with a "price flash" on it? You can do this easily in photoshop or paintshop. Just make the canvas a bit bigger than the product image itself so you can accommodate the "price flash". I'm sure someone else might have other ideas for you too?!
