Stop shipping abroad (single item)

Hi,

Generally we ship all of our products worldwide but there are a few products we're not allowed to sell outside the UK. Currently all our items are assigned to shipping code A. What's the easiest way of setting products up for UK shipping only. I'm not really sure how to use the different shipping code system so thought I'd pick some fellow Blueparkers' brains!

Yes, you can do this. With the majority of your products set to Shipping Code A, set the "UK only" products to Shipping Code B.

Leave your UK-based shipping methods set to "All", and set the non-UK shipping methods to Shipping Code A.

This means:


UK-based shipping methods can ship A and B
Non-UK shipping methods can ship A only (not B)Obviously, to buy a B product the customer will have to select a UK-based shipping method. If the Countries have been set correctly (with only the UK selected) the customer will not be able to specify a delivery address outside the UK and complete the checkout.

What heppens if the customer selects one item with code A and one item with code B in the same basket?

In the example above, the customer won't be able to checkout unless they're in the UK (the first shipping method).
