Firstly,
Merry Christmas to one and all!

Being a bit of a noob to the BP setup (with which I must state, I'm very pleased so far :D) I was wondering if anyone else has had any strange referrals. Our site is live, but not open to receive orders as yet, but we have a few lines of stock up and viewable. Which I'm pleased to say attract a fair amount of attention. We specialise in car parts and nothing else, so was quite shocked to find we had been found by some sick individual looking for "nudechildmodel.com". Not believing that this could be possible, I tried it myself as a Google search. Lo and behold there we are near the bottom of the first page!
Having personally written every last character on every page, I know for sure nothing like this exists anywhere on our site. Naturally this is not something I need to be associated with.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Have a good'un y'all
Mick

Hi

Firstly I didn't get those results when I typed into google, you weren't there to be found and I tried google uk and the main google. Have to say I hated typing that search phrase in, it didn't sit comfortably with me at all.

Anyway, I couldn't see any logical reason why it happens, I've looked at your source code and couldn't see the phrase in there either.

What I was wondering but couldn't see is if you had taken any of your pictures from another source and linked to them from your site, that may have had alt tags or other coding behind them but as I say there doesn't seem to be anything obvious.

That's not much help sorry, but I tried!

Only had a quick look and like Nadine it was very uncomfortable using that search phrase. However, unlike Nadine it did return your site to me when using that keyword.

Can not see any obvious reason why it should be doing so. Is your domain name newly registered and could it have been used before by someone and google still have that version cached?

could some of your filler text under "lubricants" be causing the search engines to get the wrong idea?

Happy new year one and all.

Thanks guys for your replies. and thanks for trying the search. I know exactly how you feel entering something like that into Google. I felt very uncomfortable too.
You've made some valid points though that I hadn't thought of.
We've had our Domain for about 4 years to the best of my knowledge.
Most of my images are ripped off from suppliers, but are completely 'reconditioned' by me.
I've just read my filler text for the first time...hmm see what you mean, not the best choice of text, but nothing there to really attract that sort of attention as far as I can see.

Ah well, I guess I'll have to live with it and hope something comes to light.
If anybody reads this in the future that has any ideas I'd be grateful.

and thanks again
Mick
