Adam,

Remember, you did that report for me on 1 product, then about 6weeks later, i emailed to say on my computer it was on page 1, but on your computer and my home computer it was actually showing on page 3.

I wonder if something like that is happening - not sure how google moves sites about that you have visited quite a bit, but it seems to be the case that they do.

BTW - that page is now up to 16th from page 5

I did the search earlier on rise and recline chairs and found that in yahoo we are 8th in the listings opposed to 79th in google?

i dont understand how there can be such a huge difference?

Because:

Yahoo and Bing love Blue Park sites- search for the keywords a lot of our sites on here are targeting and we'll be up there - if these were the main 2 search engines i'd be a millionaire!

More people SEO their websites for google than for the others as is No. 1 by a long way - hence harder to crack, but with Blue Park - you can get there.

Also google is in the middle of a huge shuffle, our listings are all over the place, I *think* (but could be wrong) that they are now rolling out Google Caffeine.

We were number one for most of our key search terms but right now they are bouncing around, possibly because we moved to Bluepark and Google is making the adjustments but possibly because of Google bouncing around.

From what i have read, this update is not as big a problem as some people were originally stating and is more affecting the local search results, and cutting out the 'chaff' shall we say. A good website should see its results boosted if it is relevent to the search term.

I agree but I do think that some of the search results are subject to a google shuffle at the moment but will hopefully settle down.
