this just goes to show how well this system can work with site map etc being registered. I've not got a 4 hour result but certainly please with how well BP seems to present stuff to Google.

Intrestingly I note that a product I made is listing ahead of the really keyword rich info page I made !?

Yes it just goes to show how search engine friendly Bluepark is and you were obviously lucky Google came to visit not long after you had created the product.

Great it found it using the search terms above but your next trick for this product is to try and get good natural listings for The Blue Max?

Have you used any SEO software to check the keyword rich page? You have to be really careful not to mention the keyword too many times on the page else it can look a bit spammy to search engines and this could hurt the listing positions.

There are two kinds of search engine listings. Natural and Paid. Paid listings are usually labelled in a separate section such as "sponsored listings." Natural listings are the listings that are not paid forI don't pay google. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong!

Yes it is a natural listing. What I meant was you are 5th for the following search term which is great:-
the blue max jerry goldsmith intrada

But you need to cover the fact people may not type all of this in to find this product and might just type:-
the blue max

So perhaps you need to optimize the page for that search term as well.

David is right... and another challenge is now to move up from 5th to 2nd or 1st. The difference in traffic between the two top places and the rest of page one is significant.

Yes Dave, I do need to get some SEO prog to check over some of my pages. It all comes down (as usual) to time!
However I am still please by the way indexing seems to happen well with BP.

By the way - do you see any big changes in your listings (up or down) in Google in the last few weeks because of the changes they did?

not really been looking loads at google results at the moment. just the occasional check after seeing certain bluepark visitor stats. i did notice that the result that prompted my original post had a "4 hours ago" attribute next to it - which (I think...) may be a relatively new thing for google.... I don't recall seeing that kind of information on google before (apart from twitter feeds and perhaps blog posts).

In some listing, google are now displaying twiter feeds within the listings, so you may that this is what it is.
