Hi All
I am sure that I have done this before, but have spent most of the afternoon getting more and more confused, so please help me...
I want to send an email to prospective customers offering a discount on purchases made before Christmas, I've set up the discount manager and the necessary box appears in the 'shopping basket'. The problem that I have run up against is that we already offer an 'online' discounts to lure customers in, so when I set up the discount in the email it takes the discount off the already discounted price and not the list price (as I had hoped) so I disabled the 'display list price' and 'show saving' in the Configuration page. I decided that I didn't like the look of that - I like the idea of customers seeing they are getting a discount for ordering on-line.
I have looked at the 'pricing code' option in the 'Product Editor' and am now wondering if thats where I should be looking, but I cannot work out how to get this to work.
As I said I am a little confused and I hope my ramblings make enough sense for someone to point/shove me in the right direction.
Many Thanks
Colin
