Hi

I use google adwords and I have put the adwords conversion code in the bluepark configuration page, the problem is I have been watching sales and after a few tests I have worked out only about one in four sales from the site are being tracked on google adwords, can anyone think of any reason some sales are not being tracked.

Thanks

Kevin

Were these test sales you had done yourself, or from actual customers? If the later then perhaps the sales came from elsewhere, not from adwords clicks.

Also, adwords tracking is not 100% reliable, there are aspects where the numbers don't always match. What you can do is add the google analytics, and this can track non adwords sales too (although again numbers are a guide rather than an absolute picture).

AdWords tracking is usually very accurate, I once built some of our own tracking to test it out and it's not too far off! The issue can be that the sales are not tracked in real time so there can be a time lag.

Hi Kev,

Do you have Analytics tagged to your Adwords and do you have Analytics set to 'ecommerce site'? This may help give you a little more info as to where other sales may be coming from.

Hi Giles

thanks for the advice, I have just linked my Adwords account with Analytics and Ive just gone through the whole process of setting up the code again on the site, hopefully this will sort the problem out.
