Don't delay trying the new Auto Complete search, it's a brilliant addition to Bluepark and with makes searching for products much easier for customers to find, if they can't read, they can see the pictures!

We've been testing it for a couple of weeks and I'm syre it will kead to extra sales for everybody that uses it, the products start dropping down after three keystrokes, just like very expensive add on software, many, many thanks to Richard for getting this working after my constant nagging!

You were obviously so excited you were shaking when typing on the keyboard!

It is very good - well done Richard!

This is a great feature and would really help with conversions so this gets a thumbs up from me.

I wonder what is next on the agenda for release.

I have been testing this feature and there may be a problem handling variants at different prices. For one particular item (which had three variants, different prices), I received a list of three products all with the same title and price (the first product).

Great feature all the same - even better if it showed all the variants seperately (if not show one item with the from and to price).

Sorry, just to add - having a problem with the images displayed on this drop down, quite often I get the red 'x' in a box showing no image, but there is clearly one there for the product(!!?)

Regards

Love it, but have same problem as above with 3 of the same item showing
Do you have spaces in your image names Jonathan? just wonder if this could be your red x issue

Thats the way I normally type! I was tired from the weekend and wanted to go home, so didn't read it as I normally do.

this is a great (and totally unexpected) new feature - thanks Rich! One little thing; it doesn't seem to be able to handle the display of special characters such as accents over letters, Umlauts, etc. I have quite a few products with foreign names which use various accents etc. Just thought you should know. cheers, Col

I think I've found another small blip. The "All Results" option at the bottom of the search list does not seem to work in Firefox.

It's working in Firefox on my machine, latest version. We've tested it in IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera.

Further to my last reply, there was indeed an issue on the search box in the header on Firefox - this is working correctly now.

By the way, don't test it whilst logged in as easy edit makes the drop down list go upwards!

Yes, this is a problem for us too but is a fab feature. Most of our products have accents etc. :-(
