I'm thinking of making a New Year offer to customers who have already bought from us this year.

Is there a way to set up a discount for existing customers without having to go into each one individually.

Im doing the same by sending out a newsletter on the 1st Jan to all existing customers with the code within the newsletter.

Im sure someone will come up with an alternative way of doing it.

The way to do this is to create a Coupon discount, via the Discount Editor, and send the Coupon Code (as a link - see the Discount Manager) to all existing customers (E-Mail Manager).

By doing a coupon discount like this doesn't that make it available to anyone who types in that address i.e. not necessarily existing customers?

I was trying to aim it at people who already have accounts.

Mind you I suppose it's not a bad way of drumming up extra business if people pass the link on.

Come to think of it I might even suggest it! :)
