Just letting you know I have today closed my website for business, and altho I'm hoping my account on these forums stays open for the future, I'd quickly like to thank-you all for your help over the last few years.

Reasons for closure are lack of funds especially after being made redundant. Simply cannot afford to keep a non-profitable site open any longer.

Hopefully be back soon.

Hi David,

Sorry to hear you have been made redundant and you are closing your website down.

I am sure your login to the forum will continue to function as normal so hope you will drop by to see whats happening.

Best of luck for the future.

David,

Good luck to the future and hope things start to look up for you.

If you still have access, might be worth taking a full site backup - you never know if you will need it again.

Cheers Neil, but the products change almost everyday, would be crazy to try and run this again. I have turned my hand to web hosting and IT support. Will have to see how it goes.

Hi Dave,

My husbands company (A large UK materials handling company) are offering free Forklift courses to people from this area and who are, or who have been made redundant - I see you are in Bedforshire so you might be within the area.

If you want to either drop me a PM or email me via the website I'll give you some more details.

Good luck with everything.

That's kind of you, but I'm determined me and my ex colleague can make a good business from IT support and Web Hosting. Just this month we've picked up two business IT support contracts and 5 web hosting deals :-) Good start eh?

Again thanks for the offer though. It's good that companies like that offer free training, it benefits everyone in the long run

What ideas did you have in mind John? Anything in particular?
