Customer Accounts

Hi....Newbie here looking into moving my site over to Bluepark, but before I do one important question.

Do customers to my site have to register an account or can this be turned off ?

They can be turned off - Site > Configuration > Order > User Accounts turn to generate automatically

Hope that helps, can't recommend Bluepark enough.

Yes like Nadine said, the accounts can be generated automatically, so the customers dont even know they are making one

Hiya Laura.......dont hola just yet, still trying to get my head around pages, layouts, blocks etc....but once I have think I will be making the switch :)

As for customer accounts it now seems you can let your customers check out as "guests" Cool !

Guest Checkout Feature
You can now enable your customers to "Checkout as a Guest", without either creating a user account or having one created for them. This option, in addition to the manual and automatic options already available, can be enabled via Configuration: Order (http://bp49.betapark.co.uk/admin/configuration.php?tab=tab6).
Downloadable products, gift vouchers and products billed on a recurring basis are exempt from this feature (as they require a user account).
