Does anyone use the Bluepark e-mailing facility for sending marketing material to subscribers?

I have used it and found that whilst it tells me that about 33% of recipients have opened the email I don't actually know who they are and I was wondering if there are other methods for giving me a little more info like what and how many pages they have opened and also whether or not there should be an auto unsubscribe link.

I know there are other programmes out there but would like to see if we can get any more info out of this system.

What programmes do others use and how good do you find them?

Regards

Hi

I use the Bluepark mailing system to send a regular newsletter to my customers plus the occasional adhoc mail when I have a new design in or special offer that won't wait until the end of the month when I normally send the regular mail.

I agree there is not a lot of feedback but having used Vertical Response for a while I came back to Bluepark. The info on Vertical response, though more detailed, was not really very much use and the set up of each newsletter was limited in scope and time consuming.

I find that I can see the results of each newsletter in the site statistics both in the increase in numbers and the recogniseable names. Most important of all is the increase in sales... which is the main aim. Though I must confess that not every newsletter has the desired result.

I think there is a way to set up an opt out. I have not worked out how to do it so I just have a final line which says... "we hope you have enjoyed this newsletter and will want to continue receiving a regular email from us, but if you would like to opt out please send an email to nomail@ever-so-sexy.com ". It works well... its simple and so far only a few have opted out, so I guess they must like the newsletters.

Cheers
