this is more of a feature request - but if its already possible then great.

i am creating a navigation links in the top menu. i am also creating category links on the left hand menu. the navigation menu links will be pointing at the categories created. so you will end up with links to categories accessible from the top and left hand menus.

there does not appear to be a quick way to create the navigation links to my created categories. its possible of course but its taking time. it would be a nice feature to somehow have this work condensed via some sort of feature within the software.

i understand many sites will not use the top navigation menu in the way i am but at the same time i am sure many will. :)

edit: in addition, each time i amend the categories i guess i will need to amend the navigation links - ie they will not auto-update.

The Catalogue Menu Block (generally used in the left-hand column) is hard-wired into the Category Manager. This is where your categories will automatically appear, in the order you have specified.

The Navigation Bar, up to this point, has been intended only for links to other static pages or important categories. With the latest upgrade, it is of course possible to add sub-links, but these must be specified manually. It's really not as well suited to the job of multi-level browsing as the left-hand menu.

The new drop-down menus are more of a feature enhancement than a replacement browsing system.
