Verified by Visa Problem?

Hi,

We've had a customer call today to place an order over the phone as she was having problems with the Verified by Visa page when trying to order online. She said that having put in her usual card details, the Verified by Visa page loaded with a message along the lines of:
"As your card issuer participates in the Verified by Visa scheme, you are required to supply the following information"....

However, there was nothing there for her to fill in. Any ideas what the problem may be? Her card was an Abbey National Visa Debit if that's any use!

It sounds like the VbV website was temporarily unreachable, it should open up in the iframe on the page.

Usually the customer has to put their pin number in, that they have set to use on heir internet orders. Do you think they may have not read it properly?

I think the problem she was reporting was that the frame was blank. Hopefully just a temporary glitch. I assume these VbV pages are linked to different card providers as others were able to order fine today and she said it was like this yesterday too.
