Hi, we would like to create a simple on-line warranty registration facility, where customers can simply enter in the serial number and other details of their product to register it for a warranty. Quite often this won't have been ordered from us (as we manufacture and have independent retailers).

Can any one recommend a solution?

Yes, I did think about that, but it's not possible to search the database, by say name or serial number, unless I'm mistaken?
