Who uses Quick Books? Im doing the trial at the moment and plan to integrate it with our BP, but am finding it such a headache! Im so lost I can even remember what I wanted to use it for in the first place! And I would rather chew on my own shoe than call their helpdesk again...

Someone convince me, what do you use it for and how does it help you?

Basically, it's the transfer of order data from Bluepark to Quickbooks. This includes customer information and products ordered. The transfer is facilitated by an application called the Web Connector. For more information on what can be transferred and for set up details, check out the Quickbooks Guide from our Help Section:

Data transfer can be triggered manually or automatically.

What are the benefits of transferring it though? When I have it all in my BP system to see?

Quickbooks is an Accounting (book-keeping) Software package. You can track your sales and expenses. All of the information you import to Quickbooks can be used to produce reports pertaining to the finances of your business. For example, the value of your sales, etc., will be shown on your Profit and Loss Statement. An Accountant can use the information to produce your 'end of year' accounts. Quickbooks will also enable you to produce different types of forms such as credit and refund notes and statements of account for your customers.

We use it and it works brilliantly. We have a book-keeper in and it transfers all our sales data directly to QB so that we're only paying her for her time dealing with our purchases invoices etc., rather than her having to manually enter all our sales data. QB then produces all the reports needed for the accountant to prepare our annual accounts. It's very efficient.
