Hi

Its all doom 'n gloom in the news. :(
Despite the credit crunch etc., etc., our customers are still spending and so far this year Ever-so-Sexy has shown healthy growth. However it has gone a bit quiet this month (although still better year on year). It's difficult to know if its just us, just a blip or the economy etc beginning to bite... so I'd be interested to know how things are for others.

Yes, this month has been a bit quieter. Perhaps due to school holidays so people are away from home and not shopping online so much? April is usually a quiet-ish month for us anyway so I'm hoping that's all it is!

HI ditto really my best month was January, but I've definitely gone quieter over the last couple of weeks, I was hoping it was due to the school holidays, but I'm not so sure. I do know that some schools are on holiday this coming week

Hmm - you could be right! I'm so buried in work I had forgotten about holidays. Let's watch this space then

Yes - this year's been a bit odd for Easter holidays. Some kids were on holiday for the 2 weeks after Easter, others only started their main holiday last Monday and so still have another week off. So it's almost like having a 4 week holiday period really. I'm sure business will pick up at the end of the month when everyone's back at work - lol!

It really has been a bit of a strange month. My store has only been open since December 2007 so don't really have any previous year sales figures to compare to, but this month started off really quiet in comparison to Jan, Feb and March and I was starting to panic a little. Having said that, it seems to have picked up over the last week so panic over :)

I think the problem is down to the school holidays which makes a big difference to many things including on-line shopping!

It had been a fairly quiet start to the month for us but today it has gone bloody mad which is great but before we start popping the champagne corks lets see what tomorrow brings
