Link to search results?

We have many brands which can be displayed by selecting the brand from a list box on the home page. Can we reference the search result via a URL which we could publish on an email or other web-page? I realise one method would be to put the items in another category and reference that - it's just that the brands are already there and it would be easier:D!

You can reference a search for the "Podington" brand via the following URL:

http://www.podington.co.uk/search/for/-/in/0/brand/32/page/1/

The key ingredient here is "32" - that's the database ID for the brand "Podington". Go to the Brand Manager and click on the brand, and notice the "object=32" in the URL of the page (in the Address Bar).
