Just a quick post in all honesty for the help I have had from the bluepark staff in getting my site set up.

I have had some real issues with our old provider that pretty much shut our site down due to bad systems and worse customer service and the move has been pretty stressful.

However I cannot speak highly enough of the staff here even after my rant (appologies) and the system is second to none. I tried most first but this was definately the best.

Thanks

Hi Mark,

I am thinking of moving from the same provider to BluePark too. Was the transition easy?

Hi Jannette,

Yes the transition was nice and easy. i dont think it could have been easier.

Great staff, very helpful and sort things out straight away. (should you be aninternet idiot like me)

A stable system. rich with WORKING Features.

My stress was caused by the fact we are opening a shop as well at the moment.

try out the product import feature in the demo store, just export your productsfrom ekm and then import to bluepark. that is all i did. you might need totweak slightly but no dramas.

Hi Jannette !

It's Blooming Felt here - I might be on the move too !

925gifts - I tried to import my products, but I just can't get it to work. Did you do it via the FTP or just through the import facility within the demo store? I just kept getting a message saying 0 products processed. Don't know why :(

Sarah

It is more than likely because you haven't matched up the column headings with the column headings within the import - if you read back through one of your other posts Dave has walked you through it.

Hmm! I am nervous as I have never done an import/export with EKM. I have an iMac and do not have Excel but I have Neo Office which I think can handle various types of file.
Hi Sarah,
Blue Park must be better than EKM....I am on a VPS there which is costing me £144.99 + VAT a month with none of the features that Bue Park offers.
It just seems to be a bit of a leap.....but I am sure that it won't be out of the frying pan into the fire
Keep in touch
Jannette
