Newsletter - Text format ONLY

More and more of the newsletters I am getting now days are in text format ONLY.

Those emails / newsletters have hardly no content, and there is a link to the proper newsletter that is hosted on the relevant website.

Interesting.

Anybody here using this method?

I have in the past, it's very simple, and many people prefer it, especially if they are using a web based e-mail program (hotmail etc) as it loads faster.

You can basically make a new page on your website called newsletter, and send the visitors there. Definately worth a go, you could add a script to the page that counts the visitors so you can view how many people visit that site within a week/month etc.
