We would like to be able to display quantity based pricing against our products. A split of 3 prices/quantities would be enough ie

Buy 0-1 129.00
Buy 2-3 127.50
Buy 4-+ 125.00

Think I am right in thinking we are currently unable to do this in Bluepark and was wondering if anybody else might find this useful so Rich can decided whether or not to perhaps include this in a future release?

Any comments would be appreciated

Hi Dave

Can this not be done via the discount manager, by using the "define quantity based thresholds" ?

Hi Karen,

Yes is kinds of does this but we want it to display the actual prices the customer would pay if they purchased units of 1,3 or 4 and not say discount of 5% for buying 3 etc

Can you not just write the different pricing levels in the discount description once you've created the discount? We've done it here:

That's correct, there are also variables which can be used to calculate the unit pricing. Have a look at what this client has done here:

http://www.envelope.co.uk/all-card-envelopes/125x125-allcard-envelope.html

The variables are detailed in the Discount Editor.

Thanks Rich & Little-Linguist!

Have had a think about it and have decided against doing this purely because of the amount of extra work in offering quantity based pricing.

The new site we are working on is likely to have thousands of products and to set discounts up for each (having to calculate the discount % to reach the values) and then keying it in to the additional content tab is really too much work. Especially since prices are very volitile at the moment!

Many thanks for all your replies
