we had a little bit of banter over the Rugby a while back so i was hoping a few of you might have a leaning toward the footie?

im going for Portugal who seem packed full of talent this year. whilst spain look the most impressive so far, albeit from just 1 game, they always seem to disappoint. does anyone see france and italy making a comeback?

I seriously believe it could be Spain's turn this year, however I got Portugal in my company sweepstake, so wouldn't mind them winning :)

I thought Spain looked mighty impressive but my pre-tournament favourite was Portugal and I am sticking with them to win!

Also Holland could cause an upset. Having already beaten Italy 3-0 I am looking forward to seeing what they can do tonight against France

Holland-France is definitely not one to miss - more Total Football hopefully!;) With France needing a result it should be an open game with plenty of goals. 2-2 is my guess.

As for Italy, 2-0 v Romania. from memory, Italy didnt play that bad against the Dutch - despite the drubbing.

looking forward to Ronaldo playing for Chelsea under Scolari next season!!

Crotia are being tipped as an outside bet so good luck with that one. they should beat Turkey and then anything can happen in the next 2 games especially the final.

be interesting to see if the 3 form teams in the group stages (Port,Spain & Neth) go out in the second round.

well it looks like im a good contrary indicator in this tournament. so for anyone who wants to bet against me im going for the dutch and spanish in the last 2 games.

......but i might be right about ronaldo and chelsea!
