exchanging links

Hi,

I am new to this so any mistakes are unintentional.

I currently updating my site and i intend to include a page to display external links. Would anybody be interested in exchanging links? Also if any body has any tips and hints regarding search engine optimization all welcome.

I wish to change the background colour of my basket buttons etc, from blue - too orange. I have been informed that i have to adjust the 'hue' of the image using photoshop etc. I do not have copy of photoshop and doubt i am up the task in any case. Any suggestions are welcome.

Re SEO, I'm a learner and have found a wealth of good advice on this Forum, just scan back and pick up anything on SEO or AdWords. Also, I bought a useful little DIY book for £9.99 called "Get into Bed with Google" which has really helped (I can't be fussed with long manuals!) - I got it from Amazon and when you key in the title they give you a list of similar books, useful!

Re Image manipulation try Corel PaintShop Pro X2, it's very easy to work out. Again from Amazon for around £20 (without manuals, just the disk and licence) as against £79.99 for the same thing in a box with manuals that you probably only read a couple of pages of anyway!

I would be happy to link. I have a site with eco friendly products and a useful links page. If you have any specific taps/shower heads that are designed to save water, I could link direct to one of them for you.

My site has a multi surface cleaning/disinfectant spray and shower foam that are chemical free. If you are still happy to share links, pm me and we can sort out url's.
