Hi everyone,

I finally did it and 'took the plunge' and now Bluepark are hosting my site:

www.lingerie-heaven.com (http://www.lingerie-heaven.com)

Now my query.

I notice on the product description pages under 'Meta Pages' it says 'product decrisption used'. Do I just leave the page as it is? I do not have to enter anything else at all? Does the Meta tag generator also pick up the style/model number or should I enter this on the description elsewhere?

I am using CEO at the moment to see what I am able to find, check I am not missing anything important.

So will the description I have used be sent to the Search Engines? I have the 'Apply SEO' box ticked too.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Hi and welcome

If you don't enter anything into the meta tag fields, Bluepark will default them to your product description or catageory, depending on where you are. You do need to enter meta keywords though, as these can't be auto generated specific to your product.

Also, the meta tag generator won't pick up the style/model number, though they will be found on your product page in a search.

Lovely, thanks so much for your answer. I will get these added into descriptions at a later date, just concentrating on getting more items on the site right now so I will go back and do these, it was just the helped I wanted. Thanks. I think this move is the best thing I ever did!!

Hi,

The advantage of using the 'meta tag' tab under each product is, you can keywork each product specifically for keywords related just to that product. This give you more keyword options and yet focuses the individual keywords that google picks up and can bring you more targeted traffic.

You seem to have got everything else right, love the site!

Thank you. It's been hard work but it is worth it when you see the results.

I'll get to work on the meta tags after I've got the site loaded up.

Thank you for the positive comments, they are really appreciated after all the work I put in.
