View Full Version : Order manager - take payments

On the order manager screen there is a tick box to select multiple orders to process together. There are also tick boxes for send emails and take payments. When I select orders to process and 'Ship all' with the 'take payments' tick box selected payment does not appear to be taken. i need to go into the order and take the payment. The email is however being sent ok.

Also i noted the order time in the back end admin and customer email receipt was 1 hour different. It's the customer email which is being timed at current time -1 hour. Is this something to do with daylight saving time/ server time?

The "Take Payments" tickbox relates to orders where you've used "deferred" or "authenticate" payment methods, meaning the funds haven't been taken yet. If you check this box, the payments will be taken (providing they can be) and the accounts will be settled.

The emails I'm receiving from the server are showing the correct time, I think this must be a local issue as it hasn't been reported before.

I have got "Standard Payments" tab enabled so the payment is taken at the same time it is authorised. When I am in the order manager there is a "Take payments" tickbox which is always ticked.

Do I just ignore this tickbox? I would have thought the tickbox would be hidden seeing as I have chosen the "Standard Payments" menthod.

Please clarify this. Thanks.
