Hi

I'm trying to locate my robots.txt file which is located in the root directory of my domain, supposedly, but I can't find it using ftp or the File Manager.

Any one know how to locate it?

Thanks

Pete

i only know that the file manager is not the root directory but /user directory, a sub folder of the public folder.

You don't have access to this file, as you can't access the true root directory (the "root" directory in your File Manager is actually your domain name forward-slash "user").

This is a link to your robots.txt file:

Thanks Rich - I just really wanted to delete it, as Scrubtheweb was telling me it was not in the right format for some crawler bots.

Don't think it can as we are not given access to the root directory. Best to check with Rich
