options and variants

Hi people. here I am setting up my first e shop - my what fun :confused:

My first exciting problem is associating options to a product. I have done this quite successfully to my first product, colour and size. This gives a nice fat matrix in the variants tab.
BUT
when i try to repeat the process with further products by using the drop down menu's to choose coloue and size. it don't bloody work!! unless I do the matrix from scratch each time. This will take an age to do all the products in the range
Am I doing something obviously wrong / stupid/ bizare??

Hi Rob

Following our discussions, I'm posting here for the benefit of others.

You can use the 'copy' function (action column) via the Product Manager to replicate a product including options and variant matrix. This is useful where there are sufficient similarities between products to make it a worthwhile exercise.
