    Default Urgent Feature Request

    Please please can we have the option of adding more status options within the order manager. Ideally we would like to add our own but as an absolute minimum we could do with a "Progressing" status or "Part Complete".

    Are you on about the coloured flags.

    Have asked this before.

    Yes, I have just agreed to a change of engraving not realising that it has already been engraved earlier today but not yet dispatched. OK I could have rooted through the engraved orders but this isn't practical all the time and so we are now going to make zilch on this product because we need to scrap it and start again. This isn't the first time this has happened!

    Had it been flagged to progressing I would have known it had been engraved and told the customer so before I agreed the changes.

    It would be good for us also, we have orders that are awaiting cheque clearance, on-hold until customer comes back from holiday etc etc and it would be fantastic to have a quick method of finding these.

    It's in the plan, it should happen next month. You will be able to "extend" the pending status by having sub-statuses, i.e. Pending: Processing, Pending: On Hold, etc. You'll also be able to assign a 16x16 GIF icon to be displayed in the Order Manager.

    On-hold for holiday - is one of our main reasons, not a good idea to send plants when there no-one there.

    Just as an afterthought, it would be nice to be kept upto date on what is going on, even if via email rather than through the forums. It's been a while since we had a serious update and i'm slightly concerned that BP doesn't start falling behind it's competitors, which would be a big shame.

    It would be great if there was a roadmap or list of upcoming features appearing in BP - its a great system and be good to hear how its going to develop.

    What I meant was that the feature was in progress in terms of development, not still on Rich's 'to do' list. It isn't actually live yet as far as I know - sorry to get your hopes up!

    I am waiting with baited breathe though, like yourself & several more Blueparkers......
