Including customer name in text on page?

Hi

I want to have a welcome message at the top of my Home page saying "Hello John Smith and welcome...etc."

Does anyone know the code I need to use to pick up their name (similar to the block that Bluepark provides to say that you are signed up under such-and-such name)?

I can see the first name is "_account_firstname" in the Language Editor, and in the email editor there is a "%full" function for the name, but I can't get them to resolve into the actual name (and to think I used to be a programmer...)

Hi Pete,

I was also a programmer for many years writing systems in Cobol but I struggle when it comes to html and javascript etc.

Hopefully Rich will come up with something but the only way I know of currently doing this would be to use the welcome block.

I would like to do this without having to use the welcome block

These variables are only for use in certain, usually specific, blocks. This is due to the resources required for a complete page find/replace.
