We'll look into making the registration feature optional below the App ID field in Configuration.

How can this button be made longer so that we can show the % discount? if 10% is inserted at the moment it knocks of the 'discount'

I see the problem now, and the earlier issue with the missing word. The button needed an extra line of CSS so that it will maintain its shape regardless of the length.

It should be displaying correctly now.

Just wondering if anyone had a screenshot of the success page showing the facebook recommendation in action?

I did an order just to look at it but didn't take a screen shot. You could put an order through and void it once you are done.

I've set mine to double loyalty points for sharing a product, but didn't realise you have to share every product individually to get all your points on all your products. Why can't it just share your order with one click?

I agree - it would be useful for people to be able to share their entire order, rather than just 1 product (if possible)

This is not the case, the customer does not need to share anything more than once.

The customer shares ANY product and the coupon code is applied to the basket, just like any other discount. If the discount is not affecting all of your products, then it is not configured correctly.

    Hi Natalie

How do you know it was a conversion? Does it show on analytics ? I've yet to install this as I'm running an Olympics promotion on FB at the moment, but want to get it up and running next week.

Ps. I love your site !! Lovely products and a great design

    Hi Sarah,
If you look in discount manager it will show you how many uses the Facebook Share Code has had, I am offering 10% off orders at the moment but might change this to a free gift. I have had another conversion today. So in time I think it is going to be a great offering. As it doesn't post on your timeline it won't interfere with your Olympics promotion as it only posts on the customers timeline therefore spreading the word about your business. We must be on the same wavelength as I was thinking today of a closing of the Olympics Giveaway on Facebook.

Thanks for your comments about our website, Yours is nice too, I will tell my work colleague as last time we visited a trade fare she had to touch everything felt as loves it and buttons too! You have a lot of likers on facebook do you have any tips!

Enjoy the closing of the Olympics

You are really spoiling us with updates at the moment Rich! I like!

A few quick questions- these discounts you are offering, are they a discount for the customer if they share their purchase on FB, a discount that is shared with their facebook friends or both??

I have been having a play around with it, and set it up with a loyalty points bonus- but how do you set it up as Weetabix to earn double points? I have only figured out how to assign them a set amount of points per order? And then, is there a way to edit the text that shows on the basket page for it- the bit that says "Get a Loyalty Points bonus for mentioning is on facebook"?

You can change " get Loyalty points... etc" to "Double Loyalty Points etc " or what ever you want in the Language Manager> Basket. And if you want double the points, on the Threshold tab in the discount editor type in 100 in the Bonus(%) box. well that is what I done and it works for me

    Hi Natalie

I think I'll definitely set up the FB sharing later this week - it will be interesting to see how popular it is. Maybe I'll start off with double loyalty points and see how it goes

With regards to the number of likers we have on FB - I guess we're just lucky. We send out regular newsletters to our website subscribers and we always have a line on the bottom giving people our FB and Twitter address. We're also quite lucky that a number of our customers mention us on their own FB pages so I guess word spreads like that. And I sometimes do separate posts on Twitter giving people the link to our FB page as we seem to have a different following on Twitter (not sure why), and so people will follow that way. Hope that helps !

If you could tell your colleague about our site, that would be fab !

    Thanks
