Default That green "launch shoptalk" button

What does it mean when the green "launch shoptalk" button (within the "who's online" page) is greyed out (ie. not as bright) and isn't clickable ?

I think it means they are not online anymore.

Ok - thanks. I thought that was what it meant. It's so annoying because I've been watching a few people recently who all have lots of items in their baskets (and have accounts with us), but they just drop off that list without checking out. I wonder why ?

Sarah I brought from you recently and when I went to order found a restriction on 2 of the items I wanted to order. I could only have 9 - though I really only wanted 10. There was nothing showing about the restrictions until I went to put them in my basket. I am not sure if this is intentional and putting people off?

Thanks for that Sue. I suspect the reason it was putting restrictions on was because there were only 9 of those particular items left and it won't let you add more than we've actually got. Can you tell me which items it was ? Perhaps I need to adjust my "Low Stock Notification" field so that it will put one of those little triangles on the product that informs you there's low stock ? Or does it already do that, I wonder, by knowing it's getting close to 0 ?

    Thanks

It didn't appear as low stock. It flashed up the number 1 and said restricted? So I thought I could only have one crochet bow ordered. It did the same for the red and white colors. It wasn't till I looked at the checkout page that i saw the 9 that I knew how many were available. Its maybe the wording? It would have felt better with "out of stock" than the "restricted" if you see what I mean. Is this how its normally shown on all shops.

The message is "The quantity you have requested has been limited" and the basket pop up window shows 9 instead of 10 (colour was Blue). Before the pop up basket was available, the underlying "add to basket" product screen would've kept the number 9 in the quantity field but now it just defaults back to 1 as it probably refreshes the screen. Nothing the website owner can do about that.
