How to collect Trustpilot service reviews

Trustpilot service reviews boost customer confidence and improve SEO, as Google often displays Trustpilot ratings in search results. It can also provide engagement opportunities where you can respond to reviews and improve customer service.

With Bluepark, you can set up a Trustpilot feedback request email to be sent after orders have been completed by providing your Trustpilot Business unique email address in the site's admin.

If you already have a Trustpilot Business account follow the steps below, otherwise create a Trustpilot Business account first.

Set up the feedback request email

  1. In Trustpilot Business, go to the Automatic Feedback Service (AFS) page.
  2. Under Copy this email address, you’ll find your unique Trustpilot email address. Click Copy.
  3. In your Bluepark admin, go to Settings > Settings > Orders tab > Order Abandonment and Follow-Up Emails section.
  4. On External follow-up email (days), enter in how many days you wish for a follow-up email to be sent after order completion.
  5. Tick the box next to this field if you only want the email to be sent after the customer's first order. Leave it unticked if you'd prefer them to receive the email after every order they place.
  6. Paste the unique Trustpilot email address into the External email addresses field. Click Save to complete set up.

There are two further options you may want to look at below these fields. These are:

Always send follow-up emails - if this is ticked Bluepark will send the Trustpilot review request regardless of whether the customer has ticked to allow contact or not.

Exclude drop shipped products - tick this option if you'd prefer not to send the Trustpilot review request to customers receiving orders via your dropshippers.

Adding Trustpilot widgets

You can showcase your Trustpilot reviews, TrustScore and star rating on your website by adding Trustpilot widgets. This is done by simply pasting the code Trustpilot provides into your website. If you are using a free Trustpilot Business account, some widgets may be unavailable to you.

  1. In Trustpilot Business, go to Share & promote > Website widgets.
  2. Once you have chosen your widget, customise it (depending on your Trustpilot account),  and click Get Code.
  3. The first set of code is Trustpilot's main script, which you'll only need to add once, no matter how many widgets you add. Click Copy code.
  4. In your Bluepark admin, go to Design > Site Theme and click the Advanced Editor button.
  5. In the Pages tab, scroll down to the Custom Javascript Code section. Click Edit next to the Head section field and then paste the code below anything else within this field. Click Accept Changes and Save. Click the green tick icon to confirm the changes.
  6. Back in Trustpilot Business, the second set of code you'll see is the widget's html code. You will need to paste this code wherever you would like the widget to display, such as in page content, a content block, or even within the theme.

More information about setting up Trustpilot widgets can be found on the Trustpilot guide Add a service review TrustBox widget.
