Default newbie question about wish list functionality

really sorry if this is old news, but I just need clarification....

just been playing with the wish list functionality and discovered that, unlike other websites, when a customer has two (or more) items in their basket and one (or more) is from someones wish list, BP doesn't give the option to ship wishlist items to wishlist customer address... and users items to users address, but only to have all items get shipped to the users address.... in fact the more I think about this the more complex getting the site to do something like that would be...

am I correct in thinking that curently BP can't handle this multiple shipping addresses wishlists shipping postage calculation potential nightmare functionality?

    Yep, think you are right.

Too be honest i have only ever had one order from wishlists anyway and they only ordered for the person who wished not themselves!!

Why would the above be a problem? Some things are best kept simple. Its just as easy to place 2 orders.
    Regards

    Neil.
