    Default Paypal order confirmation not always coming through

    Hello

    Twice recently someone has placed an order the payment has been taken by PayPal but the order hasn't been updated in BP so the status is left as unpaid and in Orders in Progress.

    Do you know why this would happen? Is there anyway I can avoid it. One customer waited two weeks before asking "where is my order?", the other had the abandoned cart email and altered me.

    We had the same problem a while ago when we first starting accepting payments via Paypal. It turned out it was something to do with some missing details that you need to enter into your Paypal account so that Paypal and Bluepark can speak to eachother... paypal callback or something like that

    Did the customer automatically return to your site after payment was made on PayPal?

    Check in your PayPal profile that your Instant Payment Notification URL matches that suggested in Site / Configuration / PayPal Payments Standard on BP. Also check in your PayPal profile that Instant Payment Notification is enabled.

    If you are receiving other payments for orders then it must be set up correctly.

    We have had over 500 orders process fine, its just a couple so I guess they must be doing something when ordering that throws an error with the system.

    May be leaving PayPal after payment but not returning to your site (going elsewhere).
