    Default How to delete "Sort by: Name Newest Price Asc Price Desc Top Sellers"

    Hi all,

    I am sure everyone is now ready to watch X factor, but am struggling to delete the above.
    (I am sure it is somewhere in configuration, but cannot find...)

    I also like to change the default background colour as well (but it must be the same place...?) the sort of green/blue-ish colour one.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

    It's in Site> Configuration then on the "Catalogue" tab untick "Allow reordering".

    Oh and the background colour (behind the "Sort by section"..?)..it's in your template editor, in Colums/Center and it's the "alternate background colour" field.

    Thank you for your swift response(s)!
    Sort of pleased that I'm not only one not watching x factor!

    Hi - does anyone know a way of just doing this in a Category so it doesn't change the whole site? Cheers

    In your category (editor), tab "Optional code" , you could put the following code in the Head Section (developers) field:
    .p2 is top bar, .p is bottom bar

    <style>
    .p2 {
    display:none;
    }

    .p {
    display:none;
    }
    </style>

    this will hide completely the sort by section

    I've just seen this. Putting this in will turn off LOTS of functionality on MANY pages, I strongly advise against it.
