    Default Viewing the birthday email

    Hi there,

I love the new birthday email feature.

I am just wondering how you view the email and if you can change it? Would be great to read what it says.

    Thank you!

Just make sure you make it optional and not required. A lot of people including myself are very reluctant to give details such as DOB out in times when identity fraud is so rife. If you made it a required field I am pretty sure you will see a drastic fall in your conversion rates.
    Regards,

Agree with Dave. I think this feature definitely has its place in certain markets but insisting on collecting such sensitive data would put a lot of people off.

I've made mine optional and added a birthday discount code, this way I can see how effective it is.

Me too! Ideally i'd like another automatic email sent two weeks or so prior to their birthday, suggesting they make a wishlist.
Can't ask for too much though eh, especially when its not relevant for everyone...

If you go into the Language Manager, you can type 'birthday' in the search box at the top and you will get taken straight to it.

The search box is right at the top in the middle. Another way, which I usually use is if you are running IE or Firefox, CTRL+F will open a search box which will allow you to type some text in to search for on the current webpage. Hope this helps you.
    Regards,

    Adrian
