Default Forgotten Your Password? link - how does this work?

Hello! I have created an account on my own website for myself just to test things out. I clicked on the Forgotten Your Password? link ... and nothing happened. As the Admin I haven't received notification that someone wants a password reminder and as the 'customer' I haven't received an automatic reminder.

Have I forgotten to click a box somewhere on my site config?

    How should this work?

If you click the Forgotten Password link it should load a new screen that asks for your email address.

If you then enter your email address it should send you an email with your password in? If it's not in your inbox then check your spam.

Hi yes I got the email request screen. Entered my email address. Nothing since!

What most concerns me is that me as the admin wasn't told that a customer wanted a password reminder. Maybe others of my customers are stuck and I don't know?

I just quickly created an account & clicked the link & I received the email immediately, so you're all good!

It'll probably just be a connection issue when you did it, or an email error or something?
