    Default Changing the styling of one particular block

    Hi
    I someone can help - I need to change the background colour of one particular block (on the Right column) In the template editor I have the right block background colour set to white, but I need to change the background of one specific block to transparent.
    Can this be done through the additional CSS and if so, could someone point me in right direction? Thanks Melanie

    You need to look at the source code of that page and find the id of that block then apply some CSS in your template manager targeting that id

    hope that makes sense!

    Thanks Shelley - very helpful, thank you
    I found the id of the block but was stuck a little with the TD.rb_content bit which followed - trial and error got us there :-)

    I've been trying to achieve the same thing - changing background colour of just one block on right side, and know the block id, but have only managed to change either all of right blocks or none in playing around with rb_content

    Can you remember just what you did to get it to work?

    Much appreciated.

    Hi - it was for another site I was working on but the additional CSS I used was

    div#rb_id_36 TD.rb_content {background-color: transparent; }

    where #rb_id_36 was the specific block number (found in the block manager or via inspect element on Firefox )

    Hope that helps
    Cheers

    Perfect. Thank you Melanie. I did try looking on Bow Wow Pets, but you've explained why I couldn't see it there.

    Thanks again.
