Default Google Analytics data v BluePark data

I have noticed something odd. A huge discrepancy between the page views shown in the Google data and the BP data. Too large to be accounted for by exclusions in the setting in Google, eg yesterday BP says I had 9774 page views but Google says it is only 3114. I know in GWT Google does not serve 100% of the data it has but I am now wondering if this is happening in GA as well. The data is in the Audience Overview which I would have thought included everything. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just some strange Google blip in my GA?

GA relies on javascript code being executed so won't be triggered by things like bots where as I'm assuming the BP data is based on actual server usage so will record bots... perhaps this will account for the difference?

Yes, I wondered if that might be the reason but the traffic looked fairly real yesterday. Not many one hit wonders but I could be wrong if I had any bots that were crawling like a normal user.
