Default Option to make EAN Does Not Apply to all products and variants if blank

I've just tried uploading a product to eBay and I came across an error I had never seen before telling me I had an EAN missing. None of my products have EAN's so is it possible to have a option whereby if the EAN field is blank it will default to "Does Not Apply" as per eBay's instructions.

    Thanks

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

Ebay made a recent change to their system to enforce EAN / Barcodes. However we have also made a change to our system as well, by adding DNA (does not apply) to the barcode field it will enable the "Does Not Apply" option within Ebay.

Hover over the tool tip icon next to the barcode field (in the Product Editor > Properties tab) and you will see information about the DNA option.

Thanks for that James. That's helpful but I was wondering if DNA is added to the Bar Code field in Product Editor>Product tab could it default to the variants too?

    Thanks

    Hi Ian,

DNA can also be added to the variants and if you need to do this to large amount of products then I recommend a product import via CSV.
