Default What's the right way to issue an eBay refund when using the API

I'm not sure I'm doing this right. I've had an eBay order but unfortunately could not fulfil it. Does anyone know if I cancel the order via eBay or via the website?

On a side note the item purchased had zero stock on the website and zero on eBay, very strange.

We ask the customer to agree to cancel the order otherwise you will still have to pay Ebay & Paypal fees, they also penalise your rating if you cancel which means you will pay 10% extra on charges if you go over their default rate!
