    Default DPD Tracking

Hi. Does anyone on here use DPD as their carrier, if so what do you use as the "Tracking address (URL)" in the shipping editor.

    Thanks

Think this might be your side rather than customer side (if that makes sense). If I click on that link it looks like the back end of MyDPD. We got caught out before whereby, as we were logged in to the system, it all looked fine but our customers weren't able to access the info.

Thanks for the replies. I've sorted it out now.

Another question, Do you collect the customers Mobile number in checkout for use with "Predict" if so how?

No it's not. It works fine. The %tracking variable gets replaced by the consignment note number we key in.

Been using it for years without any problems.

Just change the Language manager > account: Telephone to read Mobile Number or whatever, we use Telephone (Mobile preferred) and most people do.

    Hi Graham

That wouldn't really work for us, most of our users are business customers so we prefer a landline number. Only need a mobile number for DPD's predict service

That's OK no problem. I did try your tracking link and that also works for me so don't think it matters which you use.
    Regards,

    Dave
