Default API Get User Sort limited

    Hi

I have been trying to setup a simple API get for the most recently updated (modified) user but it seems the API is limited to just sorting by id, email_address, registered

Or I am doing something wrong???

Would it be possible for more sort options to be added?

Are you specifying in the original request that you want it sorted by modified_date? Also have you need to specify the fields that you want to be returned in the original request? Also check 'asc/desc' field. If you get the data back in JSON or similar format you can sort it yourself any which way you want rather than getting BP to do it. I'm sure that this can be done.

Problem is you can't sort user by 'modified_date'

Screenshot of the test area. Tried modified date even though not listed and didn't work

Okay, you're right, in that case, extract what fields you need but the whole lot into an array. I would take id as that's the primary key. Then sort the array by modified_date. As it's a time field too you are very unlikely to be modifying two or more users at the exact same fraction of a second on the same date time.
I expect BP have limited the sort options because of the overhead of maintaining multiple indexs on the original database table which is understandable.
