Default PayPal Credit slider and popup

    Hi all,

We currently use Close Brothers retail finance to process finance (which is a farce as the customer has to email us and we process the application manually), but we get charged 10% every time we use this. OK we are able to offer 0% off up to 24 months instead of PayPal's 4, but it is a feature which is built into the payment gateway and doesn't cost us anymore than PayPal currently charge us per transaction anyway.

My question is, does anyone know how i might be able to setup the PayPal buy now pay later credit slider which when clicks, opens up to a lightbox with more info.

The Disc DJ store have this feature, it looks like the PayPal marketing solutions code and layout but i cannot find out how to get the data from PayPal to install this?

    Can anyone shed some light?

    Regards

    James

Also if its possible to enable in the basket the 'Pay with PayPal and PayPal Credit' buttons? I don't think this is a part of the PayPal express checkout feature but i could be wrong?

    Hi,

Firstly sign into PayPal here: https://www.paypal.com/ppcredit/

Now you can choose the type of banner/banners you require and it will generate the code ready for you to copy & paste.

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your reply!

I have already been through this PayPal credit screen and i haven't been given the option to install a slide onto the side of the site, only to install their banners on the pages which isnt what we are trying to do.

I have spent the best part of an hour surfing the web, going through PayPal's website and cannot find a way to do this?

I just logged into PayPal and got exactly the same, so I had a look at the code on the above site you mentioned and it's done with an iFrame. This makes me think that you can't do this with a standard PayPal Business account (which is what I have) as it doesn't support iFrames and instead would require 'PayPal Payments Pro' which does. I'm only assuming this of course, so I'd check with PayPal first unless someone on here using Pro can confirm?

However, if this is the case and you didn't want to upgrade to pro, then you could achieve a similar effect with some coding.
