Default Is there a way to ban users?

Is there any way to prevent a banned customer from placing an order? I thought about adding the users postcode to the shipping method exclusion (a bit overkill, but chances are I'm not going to get another customer from the same street. probably), but it only seems to accept the first part of the postcode, and I don't want to exclude a whole area!

There seems to be no way to disable the user account.

I recommend adding their IP address to your Settings > Website tab > IP addresses to ban section.

You could also add the user to a User Group and disable all public areas of the site.

    Tick hide public categories ?

If customer is determined they can always get around things like this anyway. For example using a different e-mail address next time they place an order.
