    Default Inappropriate review requests

Most of the products I sell are fine for the automated feedback emails to be sent but for some products it is not appropriate at all e.g. pet urns. However, BP offers no facility to switch of the automatic feedback/review emails for certain products. Is this something others may be interested in or is it just me?

I don't have anything like that, BUT I agree with you, we really need a way of turning off reviews requests for certain items like these

BPs solution has been that every time I sell an urn I put that customer in the unsubcribe list but I then have to remember not only to do that every time but also to then take them back off the list again at a later date.

I made a similar request back in 2014. Part of my request was fixed (stop asking regular customers to review the same product repeatedly), but other parts of the request (see below) were put on the backburner because they were busy with the ebay update. I assume they've finished that now, so perhaps this might get pushed back up the to do list...?

    1) The ability to switch reviews on/off on a product basis (so an extra tickbox in the product manager)
    2) The ability to switch reviews off for specific customers (so an extra tickbox in the user manager)

This would stop reviews being sent for inappropriate products, and stop reviews being sent to problem customers (ie. "stop spamming me" etc)

That's not a good solution, especially if you have a lot of customers, from the other thread I think most peoples solution is just to switch it off altogether, even if they think it's useful... It's certainly switched off on most of our websites for that reason.
